8.Bidding Setup

The bidding option allows drivers to compete for ride requests instead of rides being auto-assigned. This provides flexibility in trip assignment and can be useful in certain business models.

Steps to Enable Bidding:

  • In the Vehicle Type table, locate the vehicle category you wish to configure.
  • Click the ✏️ Edit icon under the Actions column.
  • Scroll down to the Trip Dispatch Type section.
  • Select one of the following options:
    • Bidding: Only bidding mode enabled
    • Normal: Standard auto-dispatch mode
    • All: Supports both auto-dispatch and bidding
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

9.Rental Package Types

Create and manage rental packages tailored to different transport types such as Taxi or Delivery. These packages allow users to book rentals with predefined time and distance limits.

Rental means the ride is based on a fixed time and distance with a base price. For every extra distance beyond the free limit, Distance Price will be charged, and after the free time ends, Time Price per Minute will also apply. This structure ensures clarity and predictability in rental fare calculations.

  • Distance Price*: Price per extra mile/kilometer beyond the free limit.
  • Free Time (Minutes)*: Define the free usage time included.
  • Time Price per Minute*: Price per extra minute after the free time.
  • Cancellation Fee*: Set the applicable cancellation fee.

Click Save to apply and finalize the rental package pricing.

10.Subscription Settings

Configure how drivers are charged for using the platform. Admins can choose between commission-based payments, subscription plans, or a combination of both.

  • Enable Commission Only: Drivers pay a commission on each completed trip.
  • Enable Subscription Only: Drivers pay a fixed fee for a subscription period.

    • Transport Type*: Select the service category (e.g., Taxi, Delivery).

    • Subscription Duration in Days*: Set the length of the subscription period.

11.Fleet Owner Module

How does Fleet Owner Module works?

Fleet Management allows Owners to manage their drivers, fleets, and required documentation directly from the admin panel.

A Fleet Owner starts by registering through the platform.
This action is submitted for Admin Approval.

Once registered, the Admin reviews and approves the Fleet Owner profile.
Post approval, the Fleet Owner can start managing fleets and drivers.

The approved Fleet Owner can add fleet details to the system.
This new fleet entry is also sent for Admin Approval.

Admin validates and approves the fleet.
After approval, the Fleet Owner can proceed to assign drivers.

  • Free Waiting Time: Before & After Ride Start
  • Enable Options: Airport Ride, Outstation Ride
  • Cancellation Fee: Set separately for User and Driver, and define who receives it

Base Price applies up to the defined Base Distance.

Beyond that:

  • Distance Fare = (Total Distance βˆ’ Base Distance) Γ— Price per Distance
  • Time Fare = Ride Duration Γ— Time Price per Minute
  • Waiting Fare = (Total free waiting time - Waiting time from app) Γ— Waiting charge
  • Subtotal = Base + Distance + Time + Waiting
  • Admin Commission = % of Subtotal
  • Tax = % of Subtotal
  • Total Fare = Subtotal + Commission + Tax
❌ Cancellation Fee
  • Charged based on the user's reason for cancellation.
  • If Cash: Collected during the user's next ride.
  • If Wallet: Deducted immediately from the user's balance.
  • The recipient of the fee (Admin or Driver) can be selected under the β€œFee Goes To” field in the admin panel.
  • If the driver cancels the ride, the cancellation fee will be deducted from the driver according to the β€œCancellation Fee for Driver” value set in the admin panel.

13.My Services

Configure and manage the available vehicle services such as Taxi, Delivery, or All, with detailed trip and vehicle setup.

      • EHC, VHC, Hatchback, HCV, LCV, MCV
      • Luxury, Premium, SUV
    • Vehicle Image*: Upload a clear vehicle image (Recommended size: 512px Γ— 512px)
    • Name*: Enter a vehicle type name
    • Short Description*: Enter a brief summary
    • Description*: Provide detailed information
    • Trip Dispatch Type*: Select dispatch logic:
      • Normal – Auto-assigned rides
      • Bidding – Driver bidding for rides
      • All – Support both modes
    • Supported Other Vehicle Types: If the service is compatible with multiple vehicle types, select additional vehicle types here.
  • Click Save to finalize and enable the service.

14.Peak Zone Settings

Configure and enable dynamic pricing during high-demand periods in specific areas using Peak Zone logic.

  • Enable the Peak Zone toggle
  • Fill in the following required fields:
    • Peak Zone Ride Count*: Minimum number of rides needed in a zone to trigger peak status
      • Example: 2
    • Peak Zone Radius*: Radius (in kilometers) within which the ride count is evaluated
      • Example: 3
    • Peak Zone Selection Duration in mins*: Time frame to monitor ride count
      • Example: 15
    • Peak Zone Duration in mins*: Duration the zone remains active once peak is triggered
      • Example: 15
    • Peak Zone Surge Percentage*: Extra fare percentage applied to rides in the peak zone
      • Example: 20%
  • Click Save to apply and activate Peak Zone settings.

15.My Route Booking

Enable and manage the My Route Booking feature that allows drivers to receive ride requests aligned with their regular commute routes.

  • Once enabled from the admin panel, the "My Route Booking" toggle appears in the Accounts page of the Driver App.
  • Drivers can activate the toggle and add their preferred route address.
  • The system evaluates two conditions to match rides:
    • πŸ“Œ The ride must follow the same route/address added by the driver.
    • πŸ“ The ride drop point must be within a 5 km radius of the driver's saved route.
  • If both conditions are met, the ride request is shown only to the matched driver.
